This Privacy Policy explains how 24Bit System (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information in connection with the StreamLens HUD — VR Streamer Chat & Alerts Progressive Web Application (PWA) on Meta Horizon OS (Meta Quest headsets).

1. Zero Personal Data Collection

StreamLens is architected on a privacy-first, client-side model. We believe your streamer data and communications are strictly your own:

• No Account Required: You do not need to register, provide an email address, or create an account with 24Bit System to use StreamLens.
• No Identity Tracking: We do not collect names, phone numbers, IP addresses, physical locations, or device identifiers.
• No Message Logging: StreamLens does not log, record, store, or transmit your chat conversations, streamer messages, or alerts to any private 24Bit System servers.

2. Third-Party Network Connections

To provide real-time streamer HUD functionality, the application initiates client-side connections directly from your browser to:

• Twitch IRC WebSocket: StreamLens connects anonymously to Twitch’s public IRC gateway (wss://irc-ws.chat.twitch.tv:443) using standard anonymous credentials (justinfan) to display public chat streams. No Twitch account password or OAuth token is ever requested or stored.
• Browser Web Speech API: Text-To-Speech (TTS) synthesis is performed locally on your device via your operating system’s native speech synthesis engine. No voice data is sent to external cloud servers.

3. Local Storage & Device Data

StreamLens stores user preferences (such as selected theme, font size, audio volume, TTS toggle, and notification volume) strictly within your device's browser localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by wiping browser storage or uninstalling the app.

4. Children’s Privacy

StreamLens does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13, in strict adherence to COPPA and the Meta Horizon Developer Policy.

5. Meta Developer Policy Compliance

StreamLens complies with the Meta Developer Code of Conduct, Meta Platform Terms, and Meta Quest Horizon Store guidelines. The app does not access Quest microphone, spatial cameras, passthrough feeds, or guardian boundary data.
